Dear Friends,
The only people who are happy in this world are people who
are content with what they have in life. They are
appreciative of whatever little God has given them.
It is important to look at the positive aspects of your
life. There are people who are 80% positive and 20%
negative in life and who choose to dwell on the 20%
negative.
Ultimately they make themselves unhappy.
"Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting
what you have."
It is very important to move around with only positive
people in life, stay away from the negative and unhappy
people, they can be contagious. Have an attitude
of gratitude and remember that we are totally responsible
for ourselves and for everything that happens to us.
Always have a winning attitude in life.
Always believe that you are a winner, develop a
positive mental attitude and have a winner psychology. You
are as good or better than any other person.
It is a natural tendency to make mistakes; it is only
human. We must learn from our mistakes, they are actually
great teachers. Never aim at being perfect. It only
brings you unhappiness. Remember nobody is
perfect.
There were many things I was taught in school,
which I had spent years learning and were never helpful
to me. Subjects such as Algebra, Geometry etc.
There are many subjects I wish I had learnt when I was
younger and one of them is human behaviour. It is
ironic that the most important things in our life, like
how our mind functions are never taught to us. And one of
this is "How to conquer fear". 90% of the fear
that a human being experiences never materialises. Most
of it is just in the mind. If we could just get rid of a
small part of this fear, we can be very successful in our
lives. Similarly there are lots of aspects of human
behaviour which I wish our children could be taught in
schools today, that would help them to cope with life
better as they grow into adults.
