Le musée dans la rue... à la manière de Marc-Aurèle Fortin.
Sunday, June 20th - July 25th - August 22th 2004, 10am to 16pm.
The Musée Marc-Aurèle Fortin invites painters to set up their easels in front of the museum
located at 118 St-Pierre Street in Old Montreal.
Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from the mat-erials, themes and techniques
developed by Quebec’s greatest landscape artist, Marc-Aurèle Fortin. A free youth workshop is
also part of the event for children 12 and under.
The people’s choice: the public is also invited to observe the work in progress and to vote on
their favourite piece. A prize will be given to the artist with the most votes.
